It shouldn’t be too hard to find one of these babies for around $10.00 and that’s for a near-mint condition. For a lot of reasons, I think this card is worth owning if you find it at this price.

After being named an All-Star for the fifth time in 1979, he signed up with the Houston Astros after the 1979 season.  The 1980 Topps Nolan Ryan baseball card records the third time he achieved AL Shutouts Leader status. 

His status as a valued player has translated into his baseball cards from this period being some of the most consistently popular with collectors.
